Update ~ Aug 31-Sept 4, 2015

Celebrating Success

  • First grading period complete (Thank you everyone)
  • CSAs almost complete.  We still have a few make-ups.
  • Open House behind us.  Thank you for being here.  The Solutions Team will be brainstorming ways to increase parent attendance in the future.
  • New Electronic device policy posted in every classroom and appears to be helping curb the usage.
  • Many students are coming on their own to the Connections Room for additional academic help.
  • Great turn out by our CHS Student Body for our home opener football game. The band provided the pep and the sound while the spirit line danced and cheered their hearts out as CHS Panthers won the fist home game of the season.  Congratulations Coach Smith!  Panther Strong!
Thursday Pathways
Remember Thursday Pathway Study Hall  is structured differently than the regular class periods.  In order for students to leave study hall, the students must have a pre-issued pass from the receiving teacher.  There are no exceptions!
Also, pathway time is an academic study hall.  That means it should be a quiet study environment for students to complete assignments, other school related projects and or read quietly and work independently. Study hall teachers should remind students of our school wide expectation "Come to class prepared to stay".  students should have their work, text books and any other necessary supplies with them upon arrival to 7th period.  Students being called for interventions will have pre-issued passes.  For example math intervention passes are red. Announcements for the dismissal of students with intervention passes will be made at 1:25pm. We will follow with an announcements at 1:30pm to dismiss students with other intervention or enrichment passes.
Thank you for your cooperation.
