Rising Senior registration last week went very smoothly thanks to our counselors, Cris H, Jen P, Cheryl K and all the teachers of seniors who helped make this process go so well.
A special thank you to all of you for your great attitudes and flexibility regarding the AzMerit and its inevitable impact on the learning environment. Because of your positive attitudes and taking the time to explain the schedule and rationale behind it, our students (and parents) seem to be non-pulsed and ready to go with the flow. A sincere thank you to you all!

Spring is in the air
As lovely as that might sound, it brings with it some challenges. Dress code violations are on the rise as well as spring love bird syndrome (AKA PDA). A quick "Hug and Release" reminder usually solves the problem. The additional challenge for us will be addressing dress code violations while keeping students focused on the AzMerit. It would be very helpful if those teachers who are holding non-testing classes to be especially vigilant of dress code concerns and require students to change into school appropriate attire or send students to McKenzie's office. If the same students continue to violate the dress code, please send the student along with MI Form to the RTR.
