A special congratulations to Kelley Smith for being recognized as an "Ambassador of Excellence" by Coconino County last week. I can't think of a more fitting title for Kelley. Thank you for all you do Mr. Kelley Smith!
Also a shout out to our Coconino High School’s JROTC Leadership Team; Alaina Paul (Team Captain), Kaleb Herrelko, Grace Morris, and Matthew Neve. The team earned top scores in the recent JROTC Leadership Bowl earning them a spot in the national championships in Washington D.C. this June.
Congratulations and Go Panthers!

Power of your presence
Power of your presence
Please remember to be visible in the hallways during passing periods. Being visible changes the whole atmosphere of the school, and changes the climate. As the school year begins to wind down it is critical to remember to be at your door during passing periods. Teacher presence in the hallways can help change behavior and works to promote and maintain a positive school climate. When students see us in the hallways they often self-correct their behavior, just because you are there. For an added power play to help promote a positive learning environment, say hi to everyone that you can. Thank you!
