Celebrating Success
Thank you all for making the third annual College & Career Fair a huge success. A special thank you to Denise VanWoerkam and CHS Counselors for all the behind the scenes work to make this our best fair yet. Over 50 colleges attended and our students were engaged and excited about the information they received.
United Way
It is time for the annual United Way fundraising Campaign. Becky Gonzales has graciously agreed to chair the campaign at CHS, once again. United Way contributes a great deal of financial support for educational endeavors. You will find a donation form in your box this week and collections will take place through the month of October.
CHS Admin this week
Along with Mike Vogler and Ted Lyons, Cris and I will be attending a Secondary Intervention conference this week. We are excited to bring back information to help guide interventions at CHS. We will be out of the building Monday through Thursday, back on Friday. Tadd will help Steve steer the ship and Greg Rieff will be in the RTR each period.
Counseling Corner
This week, counselors are going back into the classroom to start ECAP lessons with Heilman's 10th graders and Klovenas' 11th graders. Our lessons will include determining career pathways, exploring programs of study and writing a resume.
