CHS had a big presence at the Coconino County Fair over the Labor Day weekend. Congratulations to Laura Locke for Best of Show X 2. Thank you to Cheryl Vignoli, Tim Quigly, Tom Viskocil and everyone who helped provide student work for the Fair's exhibitions. Go Panthers!

Reminders
- This Tuesday, 9/15, we have prep hour meetings in the mini-theater all day. You will need to bring your red emergency folders. If you do not have one, please let Becky know.
- Link Leaders will be meeting with their Freshmen Link Crews Thursday, September 17th during 7th period Study Hall. Link Leaders will be providing information about CHS's upcoming homecoming events!
- October 1, is the CHS College and Career Readiness Fair. The fair will take place during Pathways and is open to everyone.
Urgent
- Teachers it is imperative that you take attendance at the beginning of each period every single day. We are finding too many discrepancies to list here. It has become book keeping nightmare and we need your help and cooperation.
- Remember no passes during the first ten minutes of class.
Counseling Corner
Counselors will continue ECAP lessons. This week the focus for 9th graders will be Tips and Skills to be a Successful High School Student, as well as reviewing graduation requirements and goal setting. ECAP Teachers this week: Buzan, Jamerson, Neat and McGlothlin.
Counselors continue the work to promote a college going mind set at CHS. Thursdays are College T-shirt days. To help celebrate Thursdays NAU would like to provide t-shirt for all faculty and staff NAU alumni. If you are and NAU alum and would like a t-shirt, please email Denise Vanwoerkom with your t-shirt size.
