CELEBRATING SUCCESS...
Have you ever seen or heard of a Rube Goldberg machine? I would describe our first two days back with students as a successful Rube Goldberg Machine...a few minor glitches with overall great success. My hypothesis was right, you are all amazing, really amazing. Thank you CHS faculty and staff for a successful kick-off to what promises to be a great school year. If you have a couple of minutes to watch a great video, I think you will love this one about a young boy and his Rube Goldberg machine.
CHS TEACHERS ARE TRULY A GIFT...

CSAs...
Pre-test window opens Monday, August 13. Follow the guidelines below to help students log in.
RETURNING students (including those from middle school) will use their logins from last year.
If RETURNING students cannot remember their password from last year, they will need to see Jen Parker in the library.
NEW to FUSD students will use the default password the first time, then be prompted to set up their own.
Default:
User Name = Their ID Number
Password = !Student1
HINTS:
User Name = Their ID Number
Password = !Student1
HINTS:
- The username and password that students use to get on the computer is the same one they will use for StudentVUE.
- Also, please make sure they are accessing StudentVUE through the Coconino Website. If they just Google StudentVUE, they may end up trying to log in to a different district.
* See Jen Parker or Les with questions
GOOGLE FOR FACULTY AND STAFF...
Tuesday, August 14 at 2:45 pm in the library, Les will be offering a mini training on how to access your FUSD Google account and how to access your online textbook. This training will be very short, 15-20 minutes and is intended for beginners to Google. (Not 301 eligible).
CALENDARS...
We have a lot of events coming up in the month of September adding to our vibrant school community. Please check the Student Council Calendar sent by Gaby or in the document section in the Panther Report. Also add September 20, student assembly about school safety to your calendars. We will have two assemblies that day, times TBD, but I will let you know as soon as we have the assembly times set. Calvin Terrell will also be returning this fall to host an assembly with our entire student body, as soon as we can pin down a date I will let you know.CHS Mission
