I hope the summer has brought some vacation time, porch-sitting, picnics and family time. It is impossible to believe it is time to dust off (actually there probably isn't any dust, because there hasn't been enough time) our school bags and start thinking about our back to school days.
Although the summer flew by, I am looking forward to getting in the swing and spending the first few days together before our students walk through the doors. If you have been wondering what's been going on around school throughout the summer, we have been interviewing... a lot. Through this process we have found the best of the best. Please help me extend a warm welcome to our newest CHS faculty and staff. Also, below you will find the schedule for our 301 day and two teacher work days for the first week of August.

For Planning Purposes:
On Thursday 8/7 and Friday 8/8, with the exception of 3rd hour classes, we will be on an abbreviated schedule and all classes will meet for 30 minutes. Details for our first two days with students will be provided at our back to school meeting on August 5.
And, in case you forgot we have renumbered all of the rooms in our building. A big thank you to Brian Locke and Craig Howdeshell for giving up some precious summer days to make and install all of the new numbers. At first blush the new numbering system might confuse you, but you will quickly learn that the new number grid makes more sense than the old system. A new map will be provided upon your return.
In the meantime, I hope the remaining days of summer vacation go very slowly and you continue to enjoy your time off.
